OPTOLITE photo luminescent safety signages are made of rate earth illuminates, coated on varied surfaces, like Aluminium sheets, Acrylic sheets and ACP (Aluminum Composite Panel). It is a Glow-in-dark material, non radio-active, and safe material which gets charged by white light ( best charging by UV rays), useful for indoor application, in pitch darkness.
Once charged for a few minutes it illuminates for more that 4 hours in pitch darkness. The after glow ofcourse starts diminishing compared to initial glow intensity, but even after 4 hours it can lead the people to safety in case of pitch darkness in the event of fire in any building.
The intensity and after glow although depends on the quality of pigments which is used as per the customer’s specific requirements and cost considerations.
